Development Charges

Development charges are collected to fund the expansion of municipal services and infrastructure into new neighbourhoods. Review the Development Charges By-law, Development Charges Background Study and the Development Charges Act for more information.

Rates

The Township's Development Charges are adjusted annually.

Construction may also be subject to Regional Municipality of Waterloo, Waterloo Region District School Board, and Waterloo Region Catholic District School Board Development Charges.

Annual Reporting

In accordance with the Township's Development Charges By-law the Treasurer is required to furnish Council with an annual statement, in respect to Development Charges Reserve Funds. For more information please contact Corporate Services.
