Township Construction Projects

Current Projects

Current Phase

Begins in the spring and continues through the summer

Project Details

This is an annual program to repair, replace or reconstruct existing road network segments with hot mix asphalt to maintain adequate high class bituminous (HCB) surface road assets.

Structure adjustments, water valve adjustments, concrete curb and sidewalk repairs will also be completed under this project.

Baden Sanitary Trunk Sewer

Current Phase

Phase 2 of construction is expected to begin in April 2026 (weather permitting).

Brewery Street and Snyder's Road East Sanitary Repairs

Current Phase

Complete

Project Details

Brewery Street and Snyder’s Road East underwent construction for sanitary repairs and new watermain section installation.

This project also included surface works for concrete curbs, concrete sidewalks, separated cycling lanes, road base and asphalt riding surface.

Current Phase

Begins in spring and continues during the summer

Project Details

This is an annual project to repair or replace deficient concrete sidewalks identified during sidewalk inspections. Newly replaced sidewalk sections are being widened to 1.5m to meet accessibility requirements.

Areas of concern can be reported using the Report A Problem form.

New separated cycling lanes and offline parking areas have been added to Snyder's Rd. E from Gingerich Rd. to Foundry St. Learn more about these new features in our recent letter to residents and business owners.
