Rent pool at the Wilmot Recreation Complex for your next birthday party, family gathering, swim meet or special event. All rentals are subject to the Pool Allocation Guidelines and Procedures.

Birthday Parties at the Pool

At the Wilmot Aquatic Centre, we can make you or your child's birthday wish come true!

We offer competitive rates for the rental of the swimming pools, as well as multi-purpose rooms, some with kitchenettes which make them ideal for serving a meal cake, playing games, etc. Tables and chairs are included with all rentals.

The average birthday party rental includes 1 hour in either the Leisure pool, Lap Pool or both pools, followed by 1 or 2 hours in a room.

Booking Times

Available times are based on regular non-programmed pool times in accordance with our Pool Allocation Guidelines and Procedures.

Rental availability given at the time of inquiry is what is currently available. Please note that we do not hold rental times during the inquiry stage. We require all the required information to begin your rental booking. Please book your rental early as we are required to give staff members notice for changes in their schedule.

Rental Fees

The following rates are per hour plus HST and insurance. This rate is for up to 50 people. There will be an additional lifeguard fee for every additional 25 people. Please note, anyone on deck or in the pool must be included in your rental numbers.

Leisure Pool (Capacity: 100) $119.70 per hour, plus HST

Lap Pool (Capacity: 250) $197.29 per hour, plus HST

Lap and Leisure Pool (Capacity: 300) $285.10 per hour, plus HST

Additional Lifeguard $38 per hour, plus HST for groups of more than 50 people

Tot Slide in the Leisure pool $38 per hour, plus HST for groups of 25 or more

Room Rental $32.24 per hour, plus HST

Room Information

All setup and take-down must be completed within your reserved rental time. Early access to the room is not permitted. To allow enough time for these activities, many renters choose to book an additional two hours.

If your rented room includes a refrigerator, it may be used only during your scheduled rental period. Please bring a cooler for any items that need to stay cold before your rental begins, as we cannot store anything in advance due to insurance and liability policies.

Please note that candles are not permitted.

Insurance

Renters are required to have insurance. We have insurance at the current rate of $4.32 per hour/ per location.
